Synopsis

The register is broad, loud and unembarrassed, running on the comic logic that every attempt to fix things will make them worse.
Aimed squarely at viewers who want a raucous, high-concept farce and are not looking for restraint. The pace turns relentless once the scandal breaks, ping-ponging between set pieces with barely a pause across its hour and three-quarters. Fans of buddy comedies about idiots in over their heads, and of humour that leans crude rather than clever, get exactly what they came for.
