Synopsis
A group of international passengers on a flight from Los Angeles to Shanghai is forced to make an emergency landing in shark-infested waters. The terrified group is forced to work together and overcome their differences if they hope to escape their sinking plane and the frenzy of sharks drawn to the wreckage.

The film runs on confinement and dwindling options, with tension coming from bad decisions under pressure as much as from whatever is circling below.
Made for creature-feature and disaster-movie fans who want the pure stuff: contained setting, ticking clock, and a group forced into cooperation none of them wanted. At 1h 47m it wastes little time getting everyone wet, then keeps turning the screws. If you enjoy shark thrillers that lean into panic and spectacle rather than realism, this is a satisfyingly nasty way to spend an evening, though perhaps not the night before a long-haul flight.
