Synopsis
The fifth and final installment to Jackass franchise where the crew go on one last insane crusade.
Our Review Editorial
Billed as the fifth and final ride for the Jackass crew, this is a farewell tour built out of bruises. The premise is exactly the promise: one more insane crusade, delivered in the franchise's long-running mix of stunt, dare, and deeply unwise physics, with the added weight of knowing the credits close the book for good. There is a strange sweetness under all the wincing here, a group of friends who have been hurting themselves together for decades taking the last lap on purpose.
Aimed squarely at anyone who grew up watching these guys, and at anyone who enjoys laughing through their fingers. At ninety-odd minutes it moves in quick, punchy bursts with no plot to slow it down, which is entirely the point; this is designed for a crowd, a couch, and a lot of groaning out loud. Newcomers with a strong stomach will keep up fine. Bring friends, expect chaos, and treat it as the send-off it clearly wants to be.
