Ladies First

An arrogant charmer with money, power and no attachments wakes up in a parallel world run by women, and every advantage he has ever leaned on evaporates overnight. The premise is a comic mirror held at a deliberate angle, turning a familiar swagger into a liability and letting its lead discover, rule by rule, everything he never had to notice about the world he came from.

Best suited to viewers who like their satire broad and their comedies concept-driven rather than character-deep. Expect a swift ninety-odd minutes, jokes built on inverted etiquette and power, and a redemption arc visible from the opening scene. Subtlety is not the goal and the film is upfront about that. If you enjoy fish-out-of-water farces with a point to make, it is a painless and occasionally pointed choice for a casual evening.
