Our Review Editorial
When small-time thief Eddie breaks into a gleaming luxury SUV, he discovers too late that he's stepped into a meticulously baited trap laid by William, a self-styled vigilante dispensing his own twisted version of justice. This horror-thriller turns a single vehicle into an inescapable prison, pitting Bill Skarsgard's panicked intruder against the unseen menace of Anthony Hopkins's calculating tormentor. The confined setting becomes a cat-and-mouse pressure cooker, where every attempt at escape only deepens the nightmare and the rules keep shifting in the captor's favor.
Taut and claustrophobic, it mines genuine tension from its locked-in premise and the chilling imbalance between hunter and prey. The pacing is tight, the dread sustained, and the moral undertow of vigilante justice gives it bite. Anyone who enjoys single-location thrillers, psychological games of survival, and a coldly menacing villain will find this a gripping ride.
