New parenthood in a Finnish forest turns quietly unbearable for Saga, who looks at her newborn and suspects something is deeply wrong. Her husband Jon sees none of it, and that gap becomes the film's real fault line: a marriage splitting along the seam between what one person can see and the other cannot. Isolation, exhaustion and a wood full of old silence give the horror a folkloric chill rather than a jump-scare pulse.
