Our Review Editorial

Witnessing a highway crash is bad enough; leaving it with something extra in the van is the hook here, as a young couple's road-trip idyll is invaded by a presence that has decided they belong to it. The film pairs open-road freedom with the claustrophobia of a vehicle you cannot get out of, and that tension — endless space outside, no escape inside — carries most of the dread.

For horror fans who like a supernatural stalker with rules and a clear appetite, and who enjoy van-life aesthetics turned sour. At ninety-four minutes it stays lean, favoring mounting pressure over sprawl. Viewers drawn to possession stories and highway folklore, where the danger is bound up with motion itself, will find it effectively unsettling. Good for a short, sharp scare — though perhaps not the night before a long drive.
