Synopsis
When Rick, a past-his-prime wedding singer, meets fading boy-band star Danny during a gig, the two bond over music and a late-night jam session. But when Danny turns one of Rick’s songs into the hit that reignites his career, Rick sets out to reclaim the recognition he believes he deserves – even if it means risking everything he cares about.

The betrayal is small in the scheme of things and enormous to the man it happened to, which is exactly the territory this wants: credit, ego, and who gets to own a melody.
A comedy with a bruise on it, made for viewers who like music films set in the unglamorous middle of the industry rather than at its summit. Expect laughs braided with genuine grievance across a tidy hour and forty, and a protagonist whose crusade keeps costing him more than it returns. Anyone who enjoys stories of thwarted talent and stubborn pride will find it both funny and a little sore. Recommended with the volume up.
