Our Review Editorial
Mi-sun and Do-kyung scrape by in the most dangerous corners of Seoul's Gangnam, two friends grinding toward an exit from a life that keeps pulling them under. Just as escape feels within reach, the world betrays them, and a hidden cache of dirty cash and gold becomes the bet that could end everything or set them free. Lee Hwan frames this crime drama around loyalty and desperation, with Han So Hee and Jun Jong Seo anchoring the high-stakes gamble.
The film trades on simmering tension and the ache of two people with no one but each other, building toward a final wager that carries genuine weight. It moves with the bruised momentum of the best Korean crime stories, where every choice costs something. Audiences drawn to gritty, character-led thrillers about friendship under pressure will be gripped from the first dead end to the last.
