Synopsis
Fighting crime full-time as Spider-Man in a world that doesn’t remember him—and the pressure of seeing his old friends move on without him—sparks a change in Peter Parker he may not have the power to control. The new threat is one nobody can even see, which turns the usual spectacle inward, since part of the fight is with whatever Peter is becoming. Superhero scale, with an ache of isolation running underneath the setup.
For viewers who like their comic-book films weighted toward character cost as much as set pieces, and for anyone who has followed this hero through earlier heartbreak. Expect big action alternating with quieter, more melancholy stretches as the transformation takes hold. Newcomers can pick it up from the premise alone, though longtime fans will feel the loneliness hardest.
