Synopsis
A former circus clown escapes a mental institution on the tenth anniversary of his first kills. Now, as unsuspecting high schoolers throw a Summerween party at the clown’s abandoned mansion, a police officer and father to one of the party goers must rescue his daughter before the clown kills again.

A former circus clown breaks out of a mental institution on the tenth anniversary of his first killings, just as a group of high schoolers throw a Summerween party at his abandoned mansion. A police officer whose daughter is inside has one night to get her out. The slasher architecture is unmistakable and unashamed: an anniversary, a costume party, a big empty house and a killer with a grin.
Slasher fans who like the formula served straight will be right at home, and anyone hunting seasonal horror out of season will enjoy the gimmick. Eighty-seven minutes means quick setup and a steady procession of set pieces rather than character depth. Expect broad scares, a killer clown doing exactly what the tagline threatens, and a rescue clock ticking away underneath it all. Popcorn horror, best watched loud and with company.
