Synopsis
After Wang Wei’s daughter is kidnapped by a criminal network and he receives no help from the corrupt police, Wei sets out to find her himself. His only ally is Navin, a relentless journalist whose wife has mysteriously disappeared. Fueled by a furious vengeance, the unlikely duo ruthlessly battle the kidnappers in this explosive martial arts showdown.

From there the film runs as a straight line of escalating fury: an indifferent system, two desperate men, and the decision that fists will have to accomplish what institutions refuse to. The martial arts are the engine, and the corruption angle gives every beating a target worth swinging at.
Action fans, especially those who like fight choreography brutal and revenge plots uncomplicated, are exactly who this was built for. It moves hard across just under two hours, with the partnership between the two men supplying whatever breathing room the carnage allows. Do not expect subtlety about the villains or the machinery protecting them; expect momentum, impact and a confrontation the whole film has been winding toward. A strong choice for a night when you want the genre served hot.
