Synopsis
When Bonnie receives a Lilypad tablet as a gift and becomes obsessed, Buzz, Woody, Jessie and the rest of the gang’s jobs become exponentially harder when they have to go head to head with the all-new threat to playtime.

Woody, Buzz, Jessie and the rest are up against a threat to playtime that is less a villain than a cultural shift, which gives this fifth outing a sharper premise than a simple retread. Expect the series' familiar blend of bright comedy, real anxiety about being outgrown, and a mission structure built to carry the set pieces.
Kids get the chases and the jokes; grown-ups get the pointed screen-time metaphor and the ache that has always run underneath these films. The pacing is brisk across a tidy hour and three quarters, with enough sentiment to earn a lump in the throat without stalling the story. Longtime fans should come for the gang and stay for the way the series keeps finding fresh things to worry about. An easy family-night choice, and a premise with more on its mind than a fifth chapter usually musters.
