Along the road he meets Ren Jiqing, an elderly man living with Alzheimer's who mistakes the stranger for his own son, and that case of mistaken identity becomes the tender engine of this comedy-drama. With Jackie Chan among the cast, director Taiyan Li mines the setup for both warmth and gentle laughs as two lost souls fall into step.
Bittersweet and humane, the film leans on the chemistry of an odd couple to explore memory, family and the connections we build by accident.
