Our Review Editorial

The lottery win should have been the good news. Instead the parents announce they are keeping every cent, and three adult siblings discover how much resentment they have been quietly storing since childhood. The film uses money as a crowbar, prying open old jealousies, family myths, and grievances nobody planned to say out loud. It is a comedy of manners with a genuinely sharp edge under the laughter, and the tagline's insistence that families do everything together curdles fast.

Ideal for viewers who like ensemble family farce where everyone behaves badly and the script knows it. Eighty-six minutes keeps things brisk, driven by escalating arguments and revelations rather than plot machinery, and the barbs land quickly. Expect recognisable dynamics, a few uncomfortably accurate lines, and a household that can only be honest once it is furious. If you have a family of your own and a sense of humour about it, this is a pleasingly mean good time.
