With Alicia Vikander as the watchful assessor and Elizabeth Olsen and Himesh Patel as the couple under the microscope, the film turns a domestic space into a pressure cooker, where every gesture is scrutinized and the line between test and torment blurs. Director Fleur Fortune crafts a chilly, intimate chamber piece out of a chillingly plausible premise.
