Synopsis
As an angry mob rises against the Wicked Witch, Glinda and Elphaba will need to come together one final time. With their singular friendship now the fulcrum of their futures, they will need to truly see each other, with honesty and empathy, if they are to change themselves, and all of Oz, for good.

Chu's second half of the two-part musical adaptation brings the friends-turned-rivals to an emotional crossroads, complicated by a cyclone that sweeps an unwitting outsider into their world. Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande lead a cast that includes Jeff Goldblum and Bowen Yang, carrying both the spectacle and the heartbreak.
Lush, emotional and built on showstopping song, this fantasy romance leans into the bittersweet truth that these two women have changed each other, and all of Oz, for good. Musical lovers and fans of the first installment are the obvious audience, but anyone who responds to sweeping stories of friendship, ambition and sacrifice will be swept up. Come for the spectacle, stay for the ache.
